Outside of the main office sits an AFFIRMATION STATION! Staff and students are invited to visit the station to write a positive message to someone. Select 5th grade Peer 2 Peer facilitators did a fine job working with our older MOCI students in another Peer 2 Peer Group. With School Social Worker Linda Archibald, Speech Therapist Jessica Brzezinski and Social Work Intern Kiesha Crochran P2P opened with an icebreaker name song, an interactive game followed by a group banner painting. The group walked back to their classes together singing the song we sing each time "The More We Get Together!" The smiles and peer interaction is truly priceless. CARE of Southeastern Michigan’s 22nd Annual Parenting Conference: Parenting In the Digital Age. The conference is on Saturday, March 4, at the MISD. There are over 20 workshops that parents can attend with topics covering discipline, ADHD, Autism, Helicopter parenting, and balancing technology for children and teens.
